Welcome to the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Book Club! We’re a diverse group of readers of all ages and backgrounds, meeting twice a month. Every second Sunday (usually) we discuss a fantasy selection, alternating between traditional and urban/contemporary fantasy each month. Are you committed to writing? We are looking for serious wordsmiths to join our critique group located in Montgomery County, Maryland. We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 7pm in Olney, MD, at the Harris Teeter. Our meetings are about two hours in length. We have writers of different experience levels working in speculative, young adult, and dark fiction. We try to include a writing prompt at the end of every meeting.

Our book club meets the third Thursday of every month and we rotate meeting "hosts" each month. Our standard monthly activity is a Nerd Lunch held the first Saturday of the month, but have small meetups held throughout the month.
