Welcome. This is a group for people who write science fiction and fantasy and people who want to write science fiction and fantasy. We welcome all skill levels as long as the group rules are adhered to.

The Speculative Collective is a writing critique group formed in 2008, which caters to all varieties of speculative fiction writing. Our group meets once monthly to share our science fiction, fantasy, or even more unusual writing with each other.  Work is posted in advance, and then critiqued at the meetup by everyone in the group, from those just starting out to the more experienced, published writers in our group.

Our book club is devoted to discussing and reading both fantasy and science fiction novels while maintaining a fun laid-back atmosphere. We hope to draw in like-minded individuals that enjoy the imagination and depth contained in such books.
